 Health and temperament are by far the most important criteria when assessing pets. Any unhealthy pet totally spoils for you what should be an exciting and fun-filled time. If it has a poor temperament, all it will do is curl into a ball every time you approach it- hardly what you are expecting of a new family member.

This is exactly why we give priority to hedgehogs with great temperaments and price our hedgehogs accordingly!

 

Average price of our babies is $200-$275.

Babies with great dispositions will be priced at the higher end of this range.

Babies with great temperament and of a rare color could be priced higher than $275.

The second factor that determines the price of a hedgehog is it’s color ( rare, common) and facial markings. Hedgehogs of rare colors that are in a high demand priced as $250 and higher, again depending on the uniqueness of the color and facial markings.

Third factor that determines the price  is a sex of the baby. Females are normally more expensive than males.

 

 

If You see one that you like, we do accept deposits and payments for the hedgehogs in full through Paypal and we accept cash! No checks accepted! We don’t hold hedgehogs on anyone’s word.

 

Deposit is $77.25 , where $2.25 is a Paypal fee that is not applied to your deposit.

 Deposits are non-refundable and go toward the purchase price of your hedgehog.

NOTE!  You can only place the deposit on one of our babies after filling out and submitting the Adoption  Application Form! Your deposit will be refunded to you immediately if we do not receive an Adoption Application from You prior! Sorry for any inconvenience!

Payments in full should be made  prior hedgehog’s pick up time through Paypal ( invoice will be sent a week prior the sale) or in cash at the pickup time!

 

 

  Total Price includes:

1. Hedgehog Price (deposit fee of $77.25 is included, $2.25 additional dollars is a paypal fee, if you pay deposit  with  cash you will only need to pay $75.00)

2. Shipping Fee $250 ( if hedgehog is required to be shipped to another location)

Meet and Greet Appointment and Hedgehog Pick Up time!

We do our best to evaluate and describe the personality/temperament of the baby as accurately as possible.

The best way to pick up the right pet is by scheduling a meet and greet appointment with us and seeing/handling all available hoglets in person before you decide a hedgehog is the right pet for you and  make a final decision to purchase the animal from us!

 

We do not allow any visitors for any reasons prior to 5 wks of age. Under no circumstances will we allow our hedgehog babies to be handled any younger than that. It is our job to keep our babies safe and not exposed to anything and we take it seriously. If you would like to purchase a healthy hedgehog from us this is the way we can make sure that is exactly what you get.

 

If the hedgehog baby is 5 wks or older we can set a day and time for you to visit. However you can’t take the hedgehog home till it’s 6-8 weeks.

We do prefer that our hedgehogs are picked up here in person. Occasionally we can possible work something out like a meeting within 20- 30 miles

 

 Please be respectful of our time and if you cannot be on time a courtesy call will be appreciated ( and expected!). If you do not show up and or call prior to the scheduled time, your deposit will be forfeited. On the day of the hedgehog  pick up, an email is not acceptable, a phone call to verify that we know you won’t be here is appropriate.

If you can’t be here at the time we set up, simply let us know ahead of time and we can reschedule, but not after we have been waiting on you.

 

Also, please leave your pets home, we do not allow anyone to bring their pets into our home. Also, if you have small children, please don’t let them handle our hedgehogs without close supervision!

Shipping

​

We offer Local shipping to all the Legal States for an additional fee of $250.

We use ground transportation.

​

 African pygmy hedgehogs  are illegal to keep as pets in :

​

 * California

 * Georgia

 * Hawaii

 * Pennsylvania

 * Washington D.C. and the five boroughs of New York City

​

Shipping is $250 ( package less than 10 pounds, 1-4 hedgehogs), combined shipping is $300 and higher, depending on  weight of the box (more than 5  hedgehogs). Shipping Fee does NOT include the hedgehog price.

Hedgehog Return/Exchange Policy

​

We will take back any hedgehog for any reason that  was bought from us!

 

 IF A BUYER IS NOT HAPPY FOR ANY REASONS (***see exceptions below) WITH A HEDGEHOG HE PURCHASED FROM US an exchange with one that is available now or in the nearest future is possible within one month of purchase date!

  

   IF A BUYER DECIDES THAT A HEDGEHOG IS NOT A RIGHT PET FOR THEM 

       and can't or doesn't want to exchange the hedgehog then we            will buy back the hedgehog for the following pro-rated amounts:

      - Returned within 3 days of purchase date– full refund will be issued !

      - Returned within 7 days of purchase date – 90% of the sale price

      - Returned within 8-14 days of purchase date- 50% of the sale price!

      - Returned within 15-30 days of purchase date – 10% of the sale price!

     - Returned after 30 days of purchase date –  No refund is             given.

      - Shipping and Delivery costs are non-refundable!

      - This does not apply to a hedgehog  returned to us:

1. ill

2. injured by owner’s pets or children

in such cases, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN!
